Christy Beyerly, RDN, CDCES is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist who specializes in helping clients manage diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, Pre-Diabetes and Gestational diabetes), Celiac disease, Weight Management, Cardiac Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, and kidney disease.  She is also a certified insulin pump trainer for the Omnipod and Tandem insulin pumps.

 

Christy grew up in South Dakota where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 1994 from South Dakota State University, then completed her RDN internship at the Medical College of Virginia.  From there she served as a Captain in the United States Air Force as Chief of Nutrition Services at Eglin AFB before moving to California to work as a Diabetes Case Manager for Kaiser Permanente.  Colorado was calling, and she was the outpatient RDN and Diabetes Program Coordinator at Parker Adventist Hospital, and is currently a diabetes educator for New West Physicians.  Christy started her own private practice, Custom Nutrition, LLC, in 2020. 

 

Christy lives with her husband, two kids, and dog Daisy in lovely Parker CO.  They enjoy camping and skiing, kid activities and travel.  She loves being an RDN because of the positive relationships she builds with her clients allowing them to live their best healthy life.
